Let me look after your business, your tax and your accounting needs.

About

Hi, I'm Natasha Wells - a Chartered Certified Accountant and owner here at Tick Tax.

I earned a BSc (Joint Hons) in Accountancy & Finance and Information Systems from Oxford Brookes University in 1997.

After that and following a period spent in Ecuador, I studied for my professional accountancy exams with The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. I gained my membership on 15 March 2002 and became a Fellow exactly 5 years later.

My first 10 years were spent with a small local firm of accountants. During this time, I honed my accountancy and tax skills. This stage of my career also allowed me to learn about running a business and resulted in my doing just that.

In 2007, I set up a practice base just outside Ashford, Kent. With 5 employees and approximately 200 clients I was well-placed to provide support to small and medium-sized businesses. As the practice grew I was also recognised as an ACCA Training Partner.

Then, in 2018, I sold the business to restructure the way I provide services to my clients. The birth of Tick Tax is the result of this new structure.

Through Tick Tax my aim is to take the pressure off small and medium-sized businesses, supporting them to fulfil their legal tax and accountancy obligations.

When I’m not supporting clients, I play tennis and horse ride. We have a family dog who has boundless energy. I am also involved in charitable work with a local organisation – arranging events to raise funds for community-based charities.
